Rebecca Anderson, aged 13, joined the team in 2002 having bought Roseisle Bewildered ( Bee) which was already in the yard as my first real competition pony. Together we competed in the Heritage leading rein classes and were successful in qualifying for Hoys and also being reserve supreme at the Royal Lancs Show as well as other championships.
My Mum was looking for a first ridden show pony for me and Julie found us one in the middle of the season, a beautiful chestnut mare, Ardenhall Miss Moidore (Winnie). Winnie qualified Hoys and was champion at her 2nd show and went on to be 7th at Hoys in our first season together. The second season we were 3rd at Hoys and in her final season she was placed at Hoys again.
At the end of 2003 I was lucky to have Millay Manoleto (Marni) - 12hds shp to ride who was bought as a schoolmaster for me and we became best friends. He was a pony in a million and always made me smile no matter what the result was but most of the time they were good, always qualifying for Hoys and RIHS as well as numerous championships! Marni is now on loan to Beth Francis to hopefully give her the confidence he gave me.
fter After Marni I moved on to a 13.2 sp - Kingswood Sweet Story (Mary) which I took over from Emma Jackson. Mary was very sweet natured and so pretty, she helped me to gain confidence in the open show pony classes always qualifying Hoys and RIHS as well as many championships.

The pony I am riding this season, is a novice 13 hds SHP called Parkhill Beckham (Beckham). He is five and was only very lightly shown last season as it has taken a while for him to mature. I have qualified him for the Winter Champs and am looking forward to riding him there.
