Hi everybody, my name is Poppy Alexandra Duncalf. I am 11 years old and will be 12 on the 16th of March. I have been riding ever since I was three. I would like to keep on riding till I am at least 83!! My ambition is to hopefully ride at HOYS every year. In 2008 I am going to be riding Dykes Diplomead, known as Barney.

Barney is our 5 year old black dartmoor pony, he has a fantastic temperament and is just so friendly, he thinks he is human!!! I have had him since May last year just after he was broken, he was a very good boy. Barney is a very kind person and I love riding him. He did a few shows last year and we were very proud to qualify for HOYS and the Royal International as a first ridden. Now as he is getting older, I have decided to do open classes with him, with the help of Julie! So far we have been to 2 shows this year, at the first show Barney was 1st and Champion in the Heritage Novice Small Breeds. At the second show he won the Heritage Restricted/Open Small Breeds and was Reserve Champion and qualified for the BSPS Winter Champs in all three classes. This has been a very good start to the year. I love going to ride him at Julie and Fionas, as my lessons are such good fun. Jessie and I always fight over who is going to ride Barney first!.jpg)

Hi, poppy again. I also have the priviledge to ride Rhos Elise, also known as Ella. She is a beautiful black 13.2hh show pony. I am delighted to have been asked to ride her. Ellas is only in her first year and has only been to two shows. Her first ever class she won and the second show she did was BSPS Area 2b at Mysercough, we did the novice show pony and she came first and Champion!! I absolutely love riding her, she has wonderful fluent paces for such a baby and she is very kind and loving to ride and in the stable.

Another great pony I ride for Julie and Fiona is called Glenhuntly Hoity Toity. He belongs to Claire Wall from Ireland. His stable name is Thomas. He is a bay 12.2 beautiful show pony. Thomas loves polos. He has a very sweet nature, I love riding him as he is very comfy with lovely paces. We went to our first show together the other day at Area 1a and he was such a good boy and went beautifully, we came 2nd in the International qualifier. Thomas got lots of polos!! I am really looking forward to doing lots more shows on Thomas this year.
