Royal International - Part 2, not finished yet, but getting there!!!

Finally - Plane Racing .......

After a lovely meal, we went out the back of the stables and started our evenings plane racing. Orginally meant to be entertainment for the children it turned into World War III. During dinner the dads started to make alterations to the planes to make them more aero-dynamic, despite Julies pleas of put your planes away until dinner is finished. To no avail, dinner was swallowed quickly and the racing started!

First heats were the children, a few planes seemed to have a mind of their own, including the ones who hit the lorry that was parked beside the runway - which later turned out to have occupants in it!! A couple of stray planes hitting the stable sheeting, but we were on course for a championship with a massive crowd now gathered. To be continued......
