Herts County
Alexa Alexa Alexa - Starting the day with Pebbly Pepperpot, Alexa won and qulaified for RIHS in the coloured class. She then went into the Championship and a flat out gallop secured her Reserve. Later in the day she took Fofsway Perdita into the first ridden, won and went onto take the Championship. A brill result on home ground with Kati and Richards friends watching. They are more than welcome to come more often. Well done Alexa, great riding! Thanks to Poppy for some great riding in, Jessica for all her help at the lorry and to Kirsty, team caterer and general Mum to everyone.
Lancs Champs
Julie and Duncan headed the Lancs Champs brigade. Starting the day with Marie Wyn Jones, Rivenhall Height of Fashion, Cerys rode brillantly to win and then take the Novice Championship. Jane Foster's, Waxwing Pop-a-long once again won the Heritage M&M Lead Rein and took Reserve in this section with Georgiana Foster. The ever consistent, Parkhill Beckham ridden by Rebecca Anderson was 2nd in her 13h Show Hunter Pony section, he is now going to campaign HOYS..... watch this space!
Swansea
After having seen more of Swansea than was planned in the early hours of Sunday morning, we arrived on the showground to do some HGV vehicle training. However the long drive, the getting lost, the pouring rain and the ridiculous entry to the showground was all worth it, when Millie Manners and Waxwing Tiffany won their RIHS M&M Lead Rein class and went onto take the Championship - quite and acheivement for their first outing of the season due to Tiff holding onto that winter coat!
Northumberland County
A long drive, at least the sun shone. In an incredibly busy ring Sophie Manners, Breamish Julian ridden by Archie Manners won the M&M Lead Rein, took the Mini Championship in this section and then went onto be Reserve Supreme of Show. Archie's sister Millie, also came a credible 4th on Roselisle Something Blue who independently negotiated the balloons, flying rubbish, generator noise, flapping signs and the noise of the flying motorbikes!! Well done Millie, our hearts were in our mouths but Rosie did take care of you despite being scared herself! (Team F wins again!!!)
