Well Done to all the riders who competed at the prestigious North of England Spring Show. We had some great results and scored the Show Hunter Pony hatrick - Annandale Darcy winning the 12h, Parkhill Beckham in the 13h and Thimbley Final Edition in the 14h.......
Annandale Darcy
Owned by Stephanie and Jenny Leech, ridden by stand in jockey Poppy Duncalf, Darcy took his RIHS ticket and went onto take the Show Hunter Pony Championship, also qualifying for the Leaventhorpe Championship. Darcy is to be aimed at Lead Rein Pony of SHP type with Stephanies son- Tristan, while he practices canter at home. He was delighted with Poppy's win today and cheered on the lap of honour and also reeped the benefits of the Gum Ball machine she won!!!
Parkhill Beckham
Beckham owned by Mrs Louise Anderson and ridden by her daughter Rebecca won her first RIHS class at Dove Valley in March, here in his second outing he won again with an excellent gallop. Beckham is only in his first year after novices and now has had an amazing start to his open season.

Thimbley Final Edition
A bit of a story- Henry was bought by us last month, after asking Emma Jackson if she would jockey him, he won and qualified for RIHS on his first outing at Area 15 Towerlands. Arriving at North of England in a huge 14h class, Emma was pulled top again and stayed to take her second RIHS qualifier.
As well as the Show Hunter titles we also took the Mini M&M section with Breamish Julian ridden by Archie Manners. They won the M&M Lead Rein then went onto take the Mini Championship - Gum Ball machine and a massive teddy in tow back to Scotland with Sophie!!
