Alexa Lara Choynowski

My name is Alexa Lara Choynowski, I am 7 years old and I live in Foxwood in Chalfont St Giles. I live in the house with my Mum, Dad, sister - Tiffany, brother. I have got two dogs- Honey and Marmalade and a cat called Sugar and my favourite is Hunny Bunny, she is a puppy. At school I am in Year 3 and I go to school at the Royal Masonic School in Rickmansworth. Once a week I go to gymnastics and I can do the splits. At home I love to ride, I have 4 ponies and I groom them every Sunday. My friend Maddie rides with me.

My pony, Perdita is seven years old. She is brown and light brown, she has blue eyes and she is such a good girl. She never spooks. She is a First Ridden and she came 3rd at Horse of the Year last year and it was her first time with me. She came first at East of England and the judge had a pink dress on. She got a blue and red sash.

My pony, Pebbley Pepperpot is a 12 hand Show Hunter pony and she is a coloured. She is a white and blue pony, she has blue eyes she has a very very very white tail, but sometimes it gets very dirty. Every time I gallop in my show my eyes water. Everytime I practice with her I never want to stop cantering.

Last year I came 4th at the International and I was the only little kid in there. There was 49 in the class and it took a very long time, it was very hot in there it was like a desert.

Basford Playboy                   

Playboy has got a black mane and a ginger coat and brown eyes. He always snuggles everyone and gets everyone dirty at shows and my Mum gets a bit annoyed when her coat gets very black and dirty. Playboy was my lead rein last year and the year before. I came second at Horse of the Year Show the year before. Last year when I came out of the ring and started to canter and he was such a good boy. This year I decided to make him a first ridden and my first show was Southview. He came second and Reserve Champion and I qualified for the Winter Champs.We have sold Playboy to a little girl called Kinvara and she is going to do the lead rein with him. I will get to see him at shows.

 Nantcol Sylphide  Cilla was my second lead rein. At the Summer Champs she came Champion and Blue Riband Mini Supreme and I got a sash which was blue and white with roses and a big fat silver cup. Cilla retired after Horse of the Year Show the year before last and she has gone to Scotland to have babies at the Romanno Stud and is going to have her first one in June.

            Pinkie - (Colne Heiress) 

Pinkie was my first lead rein. I was three when I first started on her. Julie Templeton always looked after Pinkie and me.  She is called Pinkie because she has a pink nose.
